Event Summary:
Work on Wilmington brings people together to roll up their sleeves and tackle community projects in just four hours with an aim of "One Wilmington, Many Impacts!"
Volunteers will work with Mary C. Williams Elementary School to clean and beautify the school's exterior, including landscaping and refreshing the recreational areas.
Guests are welcome to join GEH employees for this effort. All volunteers must be 12 years or older and must be accompanied by a guardian if under the age of 18.
Disclaimer: Know that we cannot predict weather and the event is rain or shine. Dress appropriately and be prepared to get dirty, muddy, sweaty, etc.
Lastly, let’s come together to kick things off the right way! Work on Wilmington is hosting a special celebration the night before our big day of service, dedicated to you and all the volunteers who have signed up to make a difference. This event is their way of saying thank you, allowing us to meet and greet in a relaxed and festive environment.
